Our railroad has major terminals in different cities in the Ohio Valley and we found the best way to shuttle crews to where they're needed (and later back to their home terminal), and shuttle supplies, parts, and anything else between them is by air. Every morning a flight starts in Pittsburgh and visits all of the outlying terminals. The four leg tour takes about 3 hours flight time.

The Douglas DC3 aircraft have been updated with a fix for the VC view windshields turning blank during rain or snow. This fix uses the improved FSX rain/snow effects. We have a new paint scheme for the DC3 as well, and it is included. Thanks to James for his artwork on our aircraft.

Ohio Valley Aviation has initiated new service to Ashville NC, below is the first arrival. FSX scenery is available in the ORBX Freeware Airport Pack orbxdirect.com/product/ftx-global-na-pack And a quick NOTAM, looking at this picture, ALWAYS double check your ILS frequency on approach. I don't think they were very impressed with the approach I wound up flying.

Air cargo is handled from our Valley airports on passenger flights. We also provide cargo-only service to other markets. This flight line puts the cargo version of the Beech 99 to work moving cargo to and from other cities and the CLE hub. To take part in the tour, fly each flight in the tour. It's best if you complete the flights in order so you have the proper aircraft available to continue the tour. You do not have to complete all of the legs in one sitting, again for aircraft availability. To report a leg, under "Pilot Actions" choose "Report Tour Leg". Once complete, a manager will approve the tour completion (a formality built into the software) and you will get an award added to your roster. Flying time: approximately 3.5 hours Legs: Leg 1 Flight 140 KCLE to KERI 319nm 0.6 hours Leg 2 Flight 141 KERI to KBUF 272nm 0.6 hours Leg 3 Flight 142 KBUF to CYYZ 222nm 0.5 hours Leg 4 Flight 143 CYYZ to KDET 690nm 1.1 hours Leg 5 Flight 144 KDET to KCLE 308nm 0.7 hours

Timeline 1927: The Ohio Valley Railroad System is exerimenting with a new transportation mode, the aeroplane. It all started with one flightline.
Turn back the clock to the dawn of commercial aviation. Ohio Valley Aviation was formed in Cambridge, Ohio to carry mail and passengers to Cleveland, with a stop in Akron, Ohio. In the afternoon the plane returns to Cambridge. This short route would launch the small airline into what we have today.
Following the highway that runs north out of Cambridge will take you to Akron and Cleveland. You can also refer to your navigator to make sure you're on course (the GPS and/pr the Map). The era correct aircraft is the Ford TriMotor.
Flying time: approximately 1 hour

Flight V1 KCDI to KAKR 64 nm Cambridge to Akron Fulton Airport
Flight V2 KAKR to KCLE 28 nm Akron Fulton to Cleveland Hopkins Airport
Flight V3 KCLE to KAKR 28 nm Cleveland Hopkins to Akron Fulton Airport

The sun sets over the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Cleveland Browns Stadium on a cold winter day. But, why would I be sitting on the pad at Burke Lakefront Airport?
