Vintage aircraft (the DC-3 and the Connie) use non-directional beacons (NDB's) for navigation. To navigate with this system, simply put the frequency for the beacon in your Automatic Direction Finder (ADF) receiver. Then fly in the direction of the indication. ou can have two beacons in your ADF at once and triangulate. You can get paper charts, use online charts like vfrmap.com/, or use our route data below.
