Disaster relief flights use the Boeing 737-800 Cargo airliner. Either the OVA or AirMed version can be used. Use the flight number AMD

As our description says, "OVA is not just interested in flying planes between Point A to Point B. We also want an organization where members can be creative. Do you have different ideas n how to run a hub? Do you want to paint aircraft in a different scheme? Is there an interesting operation you want to try? This is the place for you!! "
The virtual railroad has followed this concept since day one, and so has the virtual airline. We're not just another VA where you fly where we tell you, how we tell you. We develop and welcome new ideas. Examples include the vintage flying. Cargo flights. The Islanders. AirMed.
What next? The sky's the limit. Pardon the pun.

It's time to celebrate!!! Not only does the OVA have five (count them, five) active pilots, we also logged our 100th flight hour this weekend!!!
The only thing missing is a little more feedback from our pilots on how we are doing, and what ideas you have for the airline. We're not the biggest VA, but we want to be the "funnest".

The aircraft for Flight Sim X is available for download on the website. In the future I want to update a couple of the models to FSX standards, and add some new models, but with the aircraft available, most of the flights in the system, the ACARS automatic reporting system up and fully tested, I think we're ready for prime time.
I have most of the FS9 aircraft, and will be getting that posted as well. I'm also trying to get the propliners up and running for more vintage variety.
I like the new system, the new ACARS capabilities, and our expanded flight structure. I believe we're the only VA that has a hub n Pittsburgh. In addition we have our traditional Cleveland hub, vintage flights, and the Lake Erie Islands service.
I dont think things have ever been better.

Founded on March 13, 2003, OVA and its sister service AirMed started out as was a code-share and website partner with the old "Voyager Airlines" VA. That kind of went by the wayside so we became part of North Eastern Airlines. That VA also peaked and quickly fell off as members moved on to a new train sim, so here we are. Flying solo!!!

Flight Simulator X is alive and well, and available on SteamSteam tracks the amount of time you are using the program. The biggest advantage is, if you buy a new system or have to reformat your hard drive, it (and any add-ons you buy from Steam) automatically downloads and installs. No lost of scratched DVD's, no product codes. They also have add-on aircraft, scenery, missions, etc for FSX, just compare prices before buying.
